December 17 incident under investigation

UCLA police are alerting the community of an attempted burglary of an occupied residence.
According to the UCLA Police Department, on December 17, a victim reported that an unknown suspect attempted to pull off their residential window screen in an attempt to enter the apartment.
“The victim did not observe the suspect. Further investigation into the incident indicated the victim’s window screen had been pried off and torn,” UCLA police said.
The suspect was heard only. No suspect description given to police department, according to police
The victim is a UCLA Student.
