A fire ripped through at least two floors of a West Hollywood apartment building yesterday, injuring one firefighter who suffered a twisted knee battling the three-alarm blaze.
The fire was reported at 3:53 pm Thursday, Sept. 18, in the 1200 block of North Horn Avenue and was knocked down about an hour later, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The injured firefighter was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The building sustained extensive damage, a cost estimate is not immediately available. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
