LAPD arrest man for throwing hard objects at local businesses

Police have arrested a man responsible for over a dozen vandalisms in the West Los Angeles area, involving building windows which were damaged by hard objects thrown by the suspect.
On June 4 , Los Angeles Police Department West Los Angeles Patrol Division announced they had arrested an individual in connection with a series of recent vandalisms.
“Jon Knight Prince began the crime spree on May 26th of 2021, with the last known incident occurring June 2, 2021. The suspect was responsible for 13 separate vandalisms occurring in the areas of the 1300 to 1700 block of Westwood Boulevard and the 9200 to 9400 block of Pico Boulevard. The vandalisms involved building windows which were damaged by bricks, rocks or hard objects thrown by the suspect,” the LAPD said.
Detectives were able to connect the incidents by proximity and video evidence, according to police.
OnJune 3, just after midnight, the Prince was arrested and booked for felony vandalism with consideration for the multiple crimes committed and prior convictions as well as an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
Prince is currently being held on $325.000.00 bail.
The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration, police say.
