On April 6, Westfield will debut its public areas and its much-anticipated open-air plaza, along with several new restaurants and stores, as the billion dollar renovations enter their second and final year.

In anticipation of the unveiling, Westfield Chief Operating Officer in the United States William Hecht said in a statement, “There is no doubt that Westfield Century City will be a destination unlike anything else in Los Angeles. We’re tremendously excited to welcome guests for a first look at the new center as we work towards our grand opening this fall.”

The renovated outdoor area will boast eight acres of open space, strolling gardens and tree-lined pathways, all based on the latest urban planning principles and utilizing sustainable designs.

Other new, boutique stores set to debut at the mall include Aritzia, Bailey 44, Catimini, Cole Haan, Cotton On, Everything But Water, Kendra Scott, MAC Cosmetics, Oak + Fort, Origins, Steve Madden, Swarovski, Ted Baker London and Travis Mathew.

There will be a rollout of new shops and restaurants in the coming weeks and months including, Bonobos, Current Elliott, Equipment, Joie, Maje, Sandro, R.M. Williams, Suitsupply, Zadig et Voltaire and Zara.

Shake Shack recently opened, and throughout the month of April look for the debut of Compartes Chocolatier, La Colombe Coffee, Sugarfina, Panini Café, California Pizza Kitchen, Petros and Kafe Bugatsa.

When completed in the fall of this year, Westfield Century City will have increased to more than 1.3 million square feet, and will double its parking capacity to 4,700 spaces. The mall will eventually link to the L.A. Metro Purple Line subway, which is also currently under construction.
