Westwood Presbyterian Church announced today that the Westwood Master Choir and Chamber Orchestra will perform Maria Newman’s Requiem: Mass for Peace on Sunday, June 26th, 2016, at 5:00pm with the composer herself conducting. The concert, part of the Music at Westwood 2016 Sacred Concert Series, will take place at Westwood Presbyterian Church, 10822 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90024.
This will mark the first time Newman’s Requiem has been performed in its entirety in over twenty years
