Share Boomtown & Art For Animals At Eastwood Ranch

Renowned radio personality Rick Dees, Grammy Award-winning performer Hazel Payne, comedic genius Yakov Smirnoff, and the American disco and soul band The Trammps, transformed the Beverly Hilton Hotel in “An Evening at Studio 53” to raise funds for Share. This 63-year-old philanthropic organization is dedicated to assist developmentally, disabled and neglected children, and their gorgeous members strutted their stuff to such memorable melodies as “Disco Duck,” “Boogie Oogie Oogie,” “Raining Men,” and “We Are Family.”

Among the dazzling dancers were Share CEO September Sarno, Catherine Bach (remember her from “Dukes of Hazzard”?), Neile Adams (Steve McQueen’s former wife), and Esther Feder, president of Share. Others seen shaking their groove included Esther Rosenfeld, Bonnie Lythoe and Linda Schlesinger, to name a few.

Others enjoying the fun-filled Western hoedown included long-time members Joanna Carson, former Miss Universe, Corinna Fields, Joni Berry and Miriam Nelson Meyers, one of the original founders of Share, 63 years ago!

Kudos to executive producer of the sizzling show Gary Smith, choreographer Anita Mann Kohl, and all the hardworking ladies of Share who have raised over $53 million dollars over the years to improve the lives of underserved children

Actress and producer Alison Eastwood was supported by her famous father Clint Eastwood, and siblings, 29-year-old brother Scott, and 21-year-old sister Francesca, at the De Re Gallery in West Hollywood for the 2nd Annual Art for Animals fundraiser to benefit the Eastwood Ranch Foundation. This non-profit’s mission is to rescue animals from high-kill shelters, and raise awareness for all animal welfare causes. Among the celebs and VIP guests were Keanu Reeves, David Arquette, Frances Fisher (former flame of Clint’s) and his current lady love, Christina Sandera.

A variety of artists, including Brian Bowen Smith, Michael Muller and Steven Janssen showcased their artwork in a silent auction. Others enjoying Malibu Family Wine and vegan hors d’oeuvres, included Model Joana Krupa, actress Kelly Hu, and John Paul De Joria, who co-sponsored the star-studded event.
