27th Annual Los Angeles Modernism Show Benefits P.S. ARTS

The 27th Los Angeles Modernism Show & Sale kicked off on Friday, April 25 with its annual opening night party at 3Labs in Culver City, bringing together VIPs and influencers from the worlds of design, fashion, art, and entertainment for a special preview of the show to raise money for P.S. ARTS, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to improving children’s lives through arts education.

More than $200,000 was raised during the event to support the organization’s arts education programs currently serving more than 15,000 students in Los Angeles County.

More than 800 guests mingled and enjoyed an evening of cocktails provided by Absolut Elyx and Avion, and hors d’oeuvres by SERVES YOU RIGHT! Catering while previewing decorative and fine arts from more than 40 of the most respected 20th Century dealers in the world.

The opening night event was supported by Presenting Sponsor Jaguar Land Rover, and additional sponsors included Delta Air Lines, One Kings Lane, Pam & Alan Bergman, Wells Fargo, Resnick Family Foundation, The Steven A. and Alexandra M. Cohen Foundation, Avion Tequila, Absolut Elyx Vodka, Sprinkles Cupcakes, FIJI Water, and Ma(i)sonry Napa Valley.

P.S. ARTS is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization, dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing arts education to underserved public schools and communities.

P.S. ARTS, originally founded as an outreach project of the Crossroads Community Foundation, serves 15,000 children in some of the most in need neighborhoods in California.

P.S. ARTS also offers arts-related workshops for classroom teachers, integrating creative expression and the arts into the core curriculum.

Recognized by local, county and state agencies as an outstanding arts provider, P.S. ARTS now serves as a national model that advocates the arts for all students.
