Generic Events is proud to present the fourth annual Lexus Santa Monica 5000 presented by Ed Hardy Sport to be held on October 11, 2009. Sponsored by Lexus and Ed Hardy Sport, proceeds from the race will benefit Saint Johns Health Center.

As presenting sponsor of the event, Ed Hardy Sport designed commemorative shirts for all the participants. These exclusive designer pieces capture the spirit of the event as seen through the eyes of fashion icon Christian Audigier.

We are incredibly excited and humbled to be one of the Presenting Sponsors of the Santa Monica 5000, states David Brauner, President, Ed Hardy Sport. Our unique Ed Hardy Sport tee shirt is part of our upcoming Ed Hardy Sport performance collection that will be showcased during the event.

Saint Johns is proud to be the beneficiary of the Lexus Santa Moni ca 5000 5K and 10K race. This fundraising event provides vital support for essential services and community programs offered by Saint Johns Health Center. This is especially important in the current economic climate that has brought unprecedented financial challenges to many hospitals throughout Southern California.

Attracting participants from around the globe, the Lexus Santa Monica 5000 is renowned for its organization and outstanding awards. There are 3 structured races: a 5K, 10K and the 2.5K dash for kids. The scenic 5K and 10K races start and finish near the world-famous Santa Monica Pier. Runners will enjoy great Southern California ocean views during the course of the event. Afterwards, participants will be invited to attend a post-event celebrity-driven VIP party on the pier.
