8th Annual KindredSPIRITS Concert To help Find Tretments & Cures For ALS

KindredSPIRITS will present its eighth annual gala concert
KindredSPIRITS will present its eighth annual gala concert.

KindredSPIRITS will present its eighth annual gala concert on Sunday, June 14 at 7:00pm at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills (8440 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90211). The event will benefit Augie’s Quest, an aggressive, cure-driven effort focused on finding treatments and cures for ALS. Tickets range in price between $55 and $175 and are available via kindredspiritslive.org.

The gala event will star Grammy-nominated John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting, as well as an inspiring collection of musicians, artists, celebrities, and luminaries. Other performers will include theatre and concert star Lizzie Weiss;KindredSPIRITS’ founder Ilan Davidson, who began his musical training at the age of five and is an acclaimed secular musician and contemporary Jewish singer and songwriter; the NEW Kindred Spirits Orchestra conducted by Dr. Noreen Green and under the musical direction of renowned orchestrator and pianist, Chris Hardin, both of whom have been an integral part of KindredSPIRITS since its inception. This new orchestra will combine professional instrumentalists and session performers with up-and-coming artists from local universities. The artists demonstrate abilities that meet KindredSPIRITS’ high standards of excellence, while KindredSPIRITS helps them build their performance resumes and shows them how they can make a difference in this world through their talents. Additionally, these performers will be joined by a local Gospel Choir (TBA), who will add their own flair to the music and accompaniment.

Also at the event, this year’s Humanitarian Award will be given to Augie Nieto, founder of both Augie’s Quest and Life Fitness, the global leader in the fitness industry. A corporate honorary (TBD) also will be presented.

Last year’s spectacular KindredSpirits event raised more than $150,000, with proceeds benefiting Save A Child’s Heart, an Israel-based international humanitarian project whose mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease and to create centers of competence in these countries. The organizers of this year’s event aim to eclipse the high standards set by the 2014 concert.

“We are excited and grateful to bring together so many amazing artists and performers to help stamp out ALS,” notes Ilan Davidson, founder of KindredSPIRITS. “This unforgettable event is a rare combination of the best of both worlds: outstanding entertainment and fun plus a true opportunity to make a difference in our world.”
