In January 2009, six women of Salon Forum visited remote villages in Niger, West Africa, one of the poorest countries in the world. They came away impressed by the resilience of the women and have chronicled their lives in a short video, with stories that will touch your heart.
Salon Forum is a West Los Angeles based organization of over 750 women who come together for personal enrichment and connection. It was founded by Barbara Goldberg in 1993.
