R&B singer Tamar Braxton said today she will not be returning to “Dancing with the Stars” because she’s been diagnosed with blood clots in both lungs.
The 38-year-old entertainer and sister of Toni Braxton posted a picture of herself on Instagram looking grim in a hospital bed and announced her DWTS episode is over, not because of pneumonia but because of something even more serious — pulmonary embolism.
“With a Heavy heart I regret to inform you that my season of #dwts has to come to an end,” she wrote. She also will no longer be a special guest on tour with KEM.
The first indications of trouble came when Braxton was rushed to the hospital during a dress rehearsal for Monday’s episode.
