4 Every holiday season, Downtown Santa Monica brings a little ice skating to the beachside community and transforms the corner of 5th St. and Arizona Ave. into ICE at Santa Monica, a premier outdoor ice skating rink. The 8,000 square foot rink by the beach offers residents and visitors a little taste of winter without the bite. The rink will operate through Jan. 18, 2016. Admission with Skate Rental: $15. 5 Holidays at The Grove include Santa’s Cottage where kids can get photos taken with Santa Claus, a 100-foot tall Christmas tree that features more than 15,000 lights and 10,000 festive ornaments, a beautiful sight.
