80 Acclaimed Artisans at the Skirball, May 20-21

Open to the public, The Art Affaire , a juried, fine art and craft event, takes center stage to showcase for the very best hand-crafted, American made works of art. It’s a chance to enter an artful oasis of functional, wearable and decorative art: furnishings, jewelry, photography, ceramics, textiles, glass, sculptures and digital art.

The is is The Affair Everyone’s Talking About!  The Art Affaire!

First-Of-A-Kind Fine Art and Craft Show Debuts at The Skirball.

Everything is one-of-a-kind and for sale at prices ranging from $50-$20,000. The bottom line? This two day event, held at The Skirball, is a work of art says Art Affaire Founder and artisan, Jane Mohr.

“There’s magic in the air! Imagine meeting 80 artisans in this elegant setting and they are all exhibiting and selling unique, museum-quality, original creations. Even better, you can purchase these all American-made originals. Plus, everything you see at The Art Affaire is infused with the artisan’s passion and personal story.

When you experience the difference between handcrafted excellence and mass-produced everything else, you will never turn back. Great art, whether it’s a painting or a wonderful custom-crafted handbag, is designed to enhance home and life. We also think our event meshes perfectly with the Skirball’s mission to educate through art.

Not only have we built lives and careers in the arts, we also support future artists by donating all ticket proceeds to The Group, a Scholarship fund for The Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.

How fitting that our first annual event takes place at The Skirball, next door to The Getty, in a city famous for creativity and innovation in movies, art and culture. Los Angeles is called a dream factory. At The Art Affaire, we make dreams come true!”

We hope you will post this first-ever event taking place.
