L.A. based alt-rock band ACIDIC, described as “the youthful exuberance of Green Day with Coldplay sensitivity†will perform on the Main Stage at the Orange County Fair at 2pm on Wednesday, July 29th. Admission to the show is $10 and tickets can only be purchased at the door. Parking is available on site for $5.
The Orange County fair has been a major cultural event since its inception in 1889. Noted musical acts such as Bob Dylan, Chris Isaak, Jessica Simpson, The Vandals — and now, ACIDIC have played there. .
ACIDIC consists of three westside teens: lead singer and guitarist Michael Gossard, bassist Ted Dubrawski and drummer Matt Whitaker. They’re touring around the state in support of their debut CD, “Ironic Dreams,†on sale now at Amazon.com and through their website. ACIDIC‘s singles, “Break Me Down†and “Strata Red†can currently be heard on radio stations across the country.
