Palisades Charter High School has found a new principal. Martin Griffin will replace Palisades Charter High School principal Marcia Haskin, who retired.
Griffin will be leaving a position in the Escondido Union High School District where he was an administrator. He has also served as principal at two schools from 2000 through 2007.
Griffin, however, is not just an educator. He is an active priest. He spent ten years as a member of the Conventional Franciscan, a Catholic religious order until he left the order to become an independent Catholic priest with the American Catholic Church.
Griffin has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from St. Hyacinth College and Seminary in Massachusetts, a master’s degree in theology from Xavier University in Ohio and a master’s degree in secondary administration from the University of Akron.
