Dr. Raven Lee Will Discuss the Sacred Feminine

Embodying Sacred Feminine and the Magdalene Wisdom will be the topic of discussion when author and Transpersonal Psychotherapist Dr. B. Raven Lee hosts a lecture and book signing in Altadena. The event will be held on Saturday, April 3, at 3 pm, at the Serenity Acupuncture Clinic, 822 South Robertson, Suite 105, Los Angeles. The event is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Dr. Lee’s “Embodying†is one of forty inspiring chapters in the new book: Goddess Shift, Women Leading for a Change. Drawing on the author’s mystical encounter with Mary Magdalene and her pilgrimages to Southern France, Embodying Sacred Feminine and Magdalene Wisdom addresses the importance of feminine consciousness as a portal to direct knowing, a connection to the divine. The Gospel Teachings of Mary, which parallel Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, speak about stillness, silence, and breath as methods for experiencing unity and gaining wisdom and understanding.

“There is an awakening taking place,†says Dr. Lee. “Though women are to be the beacon for this new shift, men are also called to integrate the feminine/yin wisdom to attain a true partnership on all levels of life.â€

The book features influential and powerful women including Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelou, Angelina Jolie and J.K. Rowling. Goddess Shift describes the shape of the new human family that is emerging from the leadership of these remarkable women, and the very different future they envision for the world we share. Patriarchy with its focus on the masculine principle has dominated the worldview for millennia, and has led to the economic and ecological crises facing us now. Vital to restoring balance in the world, the Sacred Feminine principle celebrates harmony, collaboration, and interconnectedness.
