ADVENTURES IN ACTING For Hams Ages 6 to 13

Kids – shy and want to express yourself? Done every musical there is and want something brand new? Santa Monica Playhouse Adventures in Acting is the place for you. Now celebrating four decades of continuous theatre workshops for youth, the internationally acclaimed Playhouse process combines the fun and excitement of working as a team t(top to bottom) Fiona McLaughlin, Dorothy Kearney and Molly Jebsen study the dramatic side of theatreo create and perform a brand new play with the joy and fulfillment of a stress-free, creative, arts-oriented environment in which working actors share their love of the craft with young people in all stages of development.

Enhanced study habits and teamwork skills and improved communication are welcome by-products of this unique program, developed with more than 25,000 students. Playhouse alumni include Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel, Jason Ritter, Jason Segel, Obi Ndefo and New York City Superintendent of Alternative Schools and Programs Cami Anderson. “One of the best in the country!†Daily Variety.
