Elvis Schoenberg (AKA Ross Wright) brings his award winning zany orchestral sounds to Santa Monica’s Typhoon Restaurant on Monday, December 27th for an 8:00pm and a 9:30pm year-end musical celebration. This will be The Orchestre Surreal’s 2nd Annual holiday appearance at Typhoon. This show celebrates conductor and composer Ross Wright’s recent nomination for “Best Original Score – TV†from The Hollywood Music and Media Awards 2010 for his work on Wheel of Fortune. Ross has been previously honored with “Best Orchestral Arranger†for the 2003 Los Angeles Music Awards.

Elvis Schoenberg’s Orchestre Surreal is a twenty-five-piece group of daring top Los Angeles studio musicians, that fuse classical, jazz, rock, hip hop, world music, and just about anything else; founded in 1997. Elvis Schoenberg is the persona of Los Angeles based composer Ross Wright, who has been described as “either a musical madman or an eclectic genius.”
