Sand and Sea Speakers, a Toastmasters International (TI) club formed more than 25 years ago in Santa Monica, has scheduled a special educational meeting to be held Monday, February 28, at Delores Restaurant & Bakery, 11407 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, 90025. The meeting features experienced club members providing special presentations that can assist one obtain and keep the job that one wants. The dinner meeting starts at 7:00 pm and generally ends at 9:00 pm. There is no charge to attend the meeting. Guest are welcome even if they’d rather not order dinner.

Among the speakers is business consultant Fred Huber, who will discuss “When Does the Interview Begin?†Michael Distefano, marketing vice president at recruitment firm Korn/Ferry, will talk about, “How to Conduct A Successful Job Search,†and teacher/writer Kevin Badt will explain, “How to Write A Compelling Resume and Cover Letter.†“How to Avoid Looking Like A Deer in Headlights,†is the title of a talk by Anita Bennett, a public relations and communications expert.
Debbie Gloria will conduct a Q & A session following the presentations.
Regular meetings resume next Monday at 7:00 pm.
