I’m the type of gal who likes to see her ‘C’s together, especially when they are cuddled back-to-back in that divine Chanel logo. According to Nielsen Ratings, however, the two ‘C’s Americans like to see together most are the aforementioned Charlie and Chuck who played so nicely together on “Two and a Half Men” dancing all the way to the bank for several very profitable years until Charlie Sheen did the unthinkable; he dissed his showrunner [an entertainment term meaning the writer who can crank out, on his own if necessary, a camera ready script in rapid succession which together equal a full, hopefully profitable, season of TV shows], Chuck Lorre — aka Chaim Levine (is this true? not from my admittedly cursory search, but I digress).
While Charlie S is responsible – or at least partially so – America’s top-rated sitcom, Chuck C is responsible – again, there are many folks involved in putting on an actual TV show — for many money making endeavors for Warner Brothers and the Eye Network: including The Big Bang Theory and Mike and Molly among others. So despite the outrageous conduct, questionable attitude toward women and prodigious drug use it was Sheen’s outburst against Lorre that made Warner Bros and CBS put the remainder of “Two and a Half Men” for this season on hold.
So what do you think? How do you see this playing out and who do you hope triumphs besides the tabloids for whom this dynamic duo is sure to provide fodder for weeks to come.
We want to C what you think about C v C.
