Soka Gakkai International-USA’s Culture of Peace Resource Center in Santa Monica will host a lecture with Dr. Ali Modarres, Associate Director of the Edmund G. “Pat” Brown Institute of Public Affairs and Professor of Geography and Urban Analysis.
Dr. Modarres will reflect on some of the emerging patterns of global migration, its socio-demographic underpinnings and suggest how to guide this flow in a way that secures well-being for workers as well as the future of development. The lecture will take place on Saturday March 14 at 4:00pm.
The lecture will take place at the SGI-USA Culture of Peace Resource Center, 606 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica. All lectures are free and open to the public.
