KO’AN Center director Lisa Watts and Silvagni Entertainment president Layna Silvagni Friedman teamed up to host a mixer at The KO’AN Center in Santa Monica on Wednesday, June 4.
This informational event educated guests on sun damage prevention, anti-aging treatments, and best skin care practices during the hot days of summer in Los Angeles.
Guests sipped on Sunrise and Sunset cocktails and enjoyed delicious and healthy light bites as they heard informational speeches from renowned plastic surgeons Dr. Barbara Hayden and Dr. Chia Chi Kao creators of The KO’AN Center.
Guest speaker, Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Travis Kidner also informed guests on best practices regarding sun and skin.
A portion of all proceeds from the event were donated to The Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation benefiting research and awareness of Juvenile Diabetes.
The KO’AN Center for Integrated Aesthetic Medicine and KO’AN Beverly Hills are co-founded by Board Certified Plastic Surgeons Barbara Hayden, MD and Chia Chi Kao, MD.

She has built jewelry and fashion brands such as Alan Friedman, Barbie™ Rocks and Country Rocks.
Layna is working with the KO’AN Center to promote their innovative approach to beauty and health.
