A Two-Year Marriage License Now Available

A Two-Year Marriage License - The Commitment Contract
After fifteen years of research and development with thousands of couples across the country, EMCI is now offering their program for couples to create their own Commitment Contract in a formalized social document that a couple discusses, negotiates, designs, reviews and then signs, based on seven areas of their relationship, to eventually be reviewed, updated and re-signed again in two years. These areas are:

1. Fair Fighting
2. Sex
3. Routines and Habits
4. Social Expectations
5. Friends and Family
6. Living Arrangements
7. Money

Creating a Commitment Contract offers a simple formula that identifies and explores the seven vital elements of marriage that shift and change every two years in most marriages and relationships worldwide, despite variations in culture, socioeconomic factors, racial differences, or religious preferences. Every couple’s relationship is shaped by their own cultural influences.
Over a single weekend, a couple can create a renewable two-year Commitment Contract that becomes the two-year plan for their relationship.
The Commitment Contract can act as a supplement to an existing, legally sanctioned marriage license, or it can simply be what it is, a Commitment Contract to help any couple create the optimal environment for their relationship at any stage of their lives together.
This landmark book contains very specific processes and skills based on fifteen years of dedicated research and application while working with couples in weekend workshops to determine what makes their marriages stronger and happier.

With the tools outlined in A Two-Year Marriage License, a couple can also repair a deep chasm between them if they’re currently struggling to rekindle their romantic love for one another. They can also restore their confidence in love, and create a workable relationship that will last a lifetime and increase their own life span in the process.

Creating a Commitment Contract works for most couples. Even if they have the world’s best marriage, they will find new ways to make plans for creating new excitement and passion in their relationship. If a marriage has hit a ‘flat spot’ or a couple is feeling disconnected from each other, creating a Commitment Contract will help reignite their spark again, over a weekend.
When they’re finished with the process, they will write out an agreement, a love pact between them that will be their bridge to a better marriage for the next two years. “Only two years?” Well, forever, but only two years at a time. Things change. That’s why the Commitment Contract is a two-year agreement that is periodically reviewed and renewed.

The skills needed to develop a Commitment Contract do NOT ask the couple to go back and drag out their past disappointments that have happened in their marriage. They will look at their relationship as it is now, and make a plan for their future – together, as a team, two years at a time.
Most couples don’t need therapy, they need new skills!

Even if a couple has separated due to an infidelity or an extramarital affair, this book can help them sort out their underlying issues if they both seek reconciliation. Most couples can find fulfillment in their marriage, and value and love each other again if they’re willing to learn some new skills.
