Grammy-winning English songstress Adele announced plans on Monday for her first North American tour in five years, including six performances at Staples Center.
The tour will begin July 5, 2016, in Minnesota. The “25” tour will land at Staples Center in late summer, with shows scheduled for Aug. 5, 6, 9, 10, 12 and 13.
Tickets for all six shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Adele has already sold out numerous concert dates overseas, and her latest album, “25, has sold more than 5 million copies in its three weeks of release.
Adele won an Oscar in 2013 for the title song of the James Bond thriller “Skyfall.” She dominated the Grammy Awards in 2012, winning song and record of the year for her smash hit “Rolling in the Deep” and best album for “21.”
