Super holiday fun for kids 2 to 102 as they all join in this interactive musical – a sing-the-songs, dance-the-dances, get-on-the-stage, win-the-prizes theatre afternoon, back by popular demand for two final weeks! ALL JOIN IN is a delightfully interactive adventure that includes songs and scenes from classic Playhouse stories and fairytales, plus added songs celebrating Christmas, Chanukah, and all the rest of everyone’s favorite holidays.
Audience members sing along with their favorite characters, win prizes, and vie for the chance to actively participate on stage. Commissioned to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Santa Monica Playhouse Family Theatre Musical Matinee series, ALL JOIN IN features original music by Evelyn Rudie, Chris DeCarlo and Matthew Wrather, musical direction by Serena Dolinsky, and is performed
by internationally acclaimed Actors’ Repertory Theatre members Celeste Akiki and Melissa Gentry, joined by guest artists Carolyn Freeman Champ and Katherine Washington.
