Cadet 1st lieutenant Pornpilin Thisomboom was selected to be Los Angeles High School’s delegate to the 2011 American Legion Auxiliary Girl’s state conference in July at Claremont College.
This prestigious conference will host 500+ high school girls from across the country. The participants will spend the week learning about the state government and have the opportunity to learn what it is like to run for and serve in elected office.
Cadet Staff Sergeant Wuineffer Hernandez was selected as the Los Angeles High School alternate. The two cadets submitted applications, letters of recommendation, and essays to American Legion post 43 Auxiliary selection committee. They were then interviewed extensively by the selection committee.
