An outdoor watch party for the telecast of Wednesday’s Anaheim Ducks-Arizona Coyotes game will be held at The Market Place in Irvine, preceded by the lighting of three 35-foot Ducks-themed holiday trees.
The tree-lighting ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. in the shopping center’s Edwards Theater Courtyard. Guy Hebert, an analyst on the Ducks television broadcasts, will host the ceremony.
The Prime Ticket telecast of the game from Glendale, Arizona is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. A large crowd is expected, with center officials recommending arriving early.
Fans may enter the viewing area beginning at 1 p.m. to set up chairs and blankets. Seating will not be provided, so bringing chairs and blankets from home is recommended. Tents and canopies are prohibited.
Reserving seats for people who are not present is prohibited.
Food will be available for purchase from several nearby restaurants that can deliver to the parking lot area. Complimentary popcorn, cotton candy and bottled water will also be available.
Alcoholic beverages will not be permitted or sold inside the viewing area. Coolers of any sort are also prohibited.
