April Dammann has chronicled the life of Earl Stendahl, founder of Stendahl Galleries, a century-old gallery that was the first to showcase Modern Art in Southern California and introduced Pre-Columbian art to the world as a collectible art form.
Dammann, who is part of the Stendahl family, has written an important chapter in the collecting annals of Los Angeles.
