The Gallery at the Archer School for Girls will open “Chicana Perspectives,†a highly anticipated exhibit in association with Cheech Marin, featuring powerful new works by artists Margaret Garcia and Patssi Valdez on Saturday October 18 from 3-5 pm.
A discussion of the artist’s works will be moderated b L.A. Daily News Senior Editor Oscar Garza immediately following the opening reception. The exhibit is in celebration of national Latino Heritage Month.
The event is free and open to the public.
