Drawing on anecdotes about Marion Davies’ famous parties with the cream of Hollywood’s creative class, as well as the unique physical qualities of the Beach House site, Glassman began creating Timeless… in early March of this year as a part of his Artist Residency at the Beach House. The performance will take place outside and in various parts of the facility – please wear layers and sun protection as well as comfortable walking shoes.
Keith Glassman began making dances soon after he started his dance training at San Diego State University as a post-bac student in the late 70s. He moved to New York and studied with, among others, Sara Rudner and Bessie Schonberg and performed in the companies of Kenneth Rinker, Bebe Miller and Catlin Cobb. He formed Keith Glassman & Dancers in 1989. www.keithglassman.org
