Beach=Culture presents: The Lyris String Quartet

Hear the beach come alive with the sound of strings as the Lyris quartet plays modern and classic music assembled especially for the Beach House. Though young, their maturity, experience, and love of chamber music comes together to create new perspectives on the repertoire. For this performance, they present a program of Webern, Shostakovich, and Ravel.

Lyris Quartet: Shalini Vijayan-violin, Alyssa Park-violin, Luke Maurer-viola, Timothy Loo-cello.

Beach=Culture is a year-round program of concerts, readings, lectures, exhibits and workshops at the Annenberg Community Beach House. Come an hour before the show for information on the Beach House from Santa Monica Conservancy docents, first come, first served.
