BeautyTicket.com, the online retail destination for premium beauty brands up to 85% off, has named Taylor Armstrong as Chief Creative Director. Armstrong, who is known for her business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit, has also purchased a 30% equity stake in the company.
Recently named InStyle’s “Best of the Web 2010,†and Women’s Wear Daily’s “Top Beauty e-Tailer,†BeautyTicket.com approached Armstrong after learning about her background in the ecommerce and management consulting arenas.
“Taylor is not just a pretty face with a great sense of style,†remarked Lindsay Pedder, CEO and founding partner of BeautyTicket.com. “She is the quintessential entrepreneur and has used her savvy to build and grow multiple businesses over the past decade. We believe that with her current role as a ‘television personality’ combined with her business expertise, she has the ability to take this company to a different level.â€
Added Armstrong: “I was very impressed with the business model of BeautyTicket.com. I look forward to collaborating with the founders to further develop and grow the budget-savvy, premium beauty portal.
