On November 21 at 7 p.m. the 2009 holiday season kicks into full swing with a special lighting ceremony on the 200 block of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The fun begins mid-afternoon with family activities and entertainment, and culminates with the lighting of thousands of twinkle lights and the exquisite 12,000-crystal UNICEF Snowflake above the Beverly Wilshire Hotel by UNICEF Supporter Rebecca Mader, who will reprise her role as Charlotte Lewis in the upcoming season of Lost and can be seen in Men Who Stare at Goats, out in theaters now.
Stroll amidst dazzling lights and falling snowflakes as the Golden Triangle is transformed into an inviting and magical wonderland with carolers, musicians, jugglers and artists. Indulge in holiday sips and bites while shopping in the world’s most exclusive boutiques, then visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at Two Rodeo for complimentary photos before a festive fireworks spectacular tops off this enchanting evening.
