Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) honored FOX Sports with the Champion of Youth Award at their annual Great Futures gala Nov. 5 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Eric Shanks, President, COO and Executive Producer of FOX Sports and a BGCA Trustee accepted the award on behalf of FOX Sports. FOX Sports announcers Joe Buck and Erin Andrews co-hosted the event.
Andrew Tennenbaum, President of Flashpoint Entertainment and a member of BGCA Board of Directors and Tim Wennes, West Coast President of Union Bank and a BGCA National Trustee co-chaired.
The evening included a live auction featuring trips to the 2015 Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Arizona, a Turtle Island, Fiji getaway and an Ultimate US Open Weekend at Chambers Bay, complete with airfare, accommodations and a meet and greet with Joe Buck and Greg Norman.
Guests also enjoyed up close and personal looks at Kyle Busch’s M&M NASCAR #18 as well as Cleatus, the FOX Sports robot.
