Since 2001, One Brick has been creating friendly and social atmospheres where people gather for a specific project — which typically lasts three to four hours — followed by a post project party at a local restaurant or cafe.
As of January 1, 2012, One Brick has harnessed 60,000 volunteer hours in the cities where it operates; San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, New Orleans, Minneapolis, Seattle, Orlando, Indianapolis, and Detroit and now, it’s Los Angeles’ turn.
On Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 3:00pm, “One Brickers” will gather on the Santa Monica Promenade to treat Fireside Convalescent Hospital residents to a stroll.
