Can One Man Change the World?

In this confusing era of diminished expectations, superficial cultural values, rampant terrorism and ideological conflicts, more and more people are looking for ways to make sense out of their lives, to find a deeper meaning, searching for a universal truth that will bring them peace.

In addressing this malaise, there has been no shortage of self-help books and programs providing spiritual resolutions by mentors who bring a sometime pretty dogmatic and often joyless approach to solving problems with emotional and “spiritual†growth.

In contrast to all of this stands the ongoing lifework and teachings of Aros Crystos, a visionary healer, a walk in creative spirit who offers the love and ecstasy of a truly evolved soul with a transcendental ability to express the truth that helps us make sense out of it all. His voice has provided decades of galactic teachings, award-winning music and vocal performances (he was winner of the 2007 L.A. Music Awards “Most TraG.O.D. Jeans by Aros Crystosnsformational Artist†), writings, novels and children’s books, audio CDs, and most recently a uniquely stunning line of couture, never seen before handcrafted garments that are not only byproducts of Aros’ unparalleled God-given skill of galactic communication expressing itself, but also reflects the person’s divine character the garments are made for.

A new line of fashion that not only catches the eye even in the biggest crowd, but Aros, through his hand crafted art, casts such a high frequency vibration that a message is inevitably broadcasted without limitations: Listen to your heart, look around, and notice the World!

The real story of Aros Crystos begins with his death and rebirth, at age ten. “When I was young there was a lot of death surrounding me,†Aros says, “and I had a spiritual experience early on, and I felt that I had died and then immediately came back to life. I told my Mother ‘I went to Heaven last night,’ and I realized at that early age that I wasn’t afraid of death anymore.â€

Aros also began to have visions and dreams, which took him to the source of his being and revealed his true mission in life as someone who could share his transformational wisdom. “I kept on having very powerful out-of-body experiences, and as a young boy it was very discomforting. I felt out of place, like I didn’t fit into conventional life. When I knew people who were dying, I was able to experience that white light and became pure spirit, a divine spark of energy. That feeling was like ecstasy and very freeing, but it was something I wasn’t able to share with other people.â€

Along with this sense of “spiritual freedom,†which however I believe is much better worded as “transformational freedom†due to our old expression “spiritual†having been degraded, misunderstood and overused, came a feeling of being displaced by the culture at large for Aros. “I didn’t understand why so much of this human culture is based on conditioning, on always doing things in a certain way, where we are trained to participate in a society and conform to conventional thinking. It was very strange to me,†Aros says.

In my own words, and as I am writing this piece while realizing more and more of the truth through Aros, thus evolving further into that which I know from quantum physics as a proven law in the Universe, and emerging that into the human existence, just like Christ, Rabbis, and other masters did, it is clear that we simply follow certain patterns, which however only exist according to the observer. And, the observer, or the watcher, or as described by many other expressions, is you and I and we.

And, sadly, someone, somewhere established certain rules that we follow like sheep (or the collective consciousness if we use the expression chosen by Carl Jung, or Sigmund Freud) regardless of whether or not it really serves us at all, but we do it because we are running on empty and lost the observer from the picture thus there is no reality. This utter ignorance can cause our own demise despite of the latest technologies, which we are so proud of as the biggest achievement of our 21st century, but which at the same time can become smarter than we are, precisely because these high-tech gadgets do not have the same habitual programming that we do, and as such can extinguish us as their own creator.

Is this an all-encompassing truth? Yes, but it does not have to be! This ignorance applies to SOME of us, those who keep on ignoring the inevitable, while the work of awakening this planet is in the hands of those who chose to acknowledge the very real existence of energy and understand to the best of their ability their own true nature and their role in evolution. Everyone can make a contribution but not everyone chooses so.

At the age of fifteen, a very young Aros realized that his journey was going to be interior, a quest for discovering his true inner self by shedding all the conditioning and training he had been taught. Most do not realize this at the age of eighty and really believe that another toy will lead them to nirvana. “I wanted to know who I really was, beyond all the cultural programming,†he says. “It took me ten years to eliminate all the conventions and realize that I was a walk in. I had a physical body but in spirit I existed as an arrangement between kindred souls, where I was able to experience other people’s lives. There were many times when I felt like I was living the life of another person. At one point I developed a very close relationship with a woman when I was living in Spain, and when she died I also died and instantly came back to life. In that experience my heart burst open in pure ecstasy, and I realized I was a divine soul.â€

It was then that Aros began to write, compiling a large volume of work in various phases over the years, writings that eventually became his first book Time is Promised to No One. Then, one day while walking along Stinson Beach in northern California, Aros began receiving messages from offshore, musical tones; feelings and thoughts that he realized were coming from dolphins.

“It was so wonderful to be able to experience this, and the messages the dolphins were sending eventually led me to Hawaii.†There Aros spent fifteen years in communication with the local dolphins. “It’s not so strange really when you realize that we all come from the same divine source,†he says, “and these beautiful animals eventually asked me to be their ambassador on this planet.â€

That experience in Hawaii also allowed him to write his second book, Embracing Aloha, a fast-paced eco-thriller and enchanting romance that uncovers secrets of the human heart. The book has been optioned as a feature film.

Aros’ continual quest for inner truth led him to explore numerous spiritual paths, and in 1980 he met Swami Muktanada, and the experience led to have a feeling, as Aros puts it, of being “stoned on Divine Love.†“This was something completely separate from drugs or hallucinogens. I was being told that this divine spark of love is who I was, and with this message everything became clear to me.†He also spent many years at an ashram at South Fallsburg in upstate New York, where he became more enlightened as to his true purpose in life.

Continuing to live a life as a creative and transformational force of energy, writing and speaking about his experiences, Aros had an opportunity to spend time with his sister in Reno, Nevada when she was going through difficult times. He was able to offer her transformational and energetic healing, while keeping on with his mission in life: changing the lives of others through the written and spoken word. “That is when, just for fun, I began playing around with some jeans, taking some old pairs that had holes and patching them up,†he says. “But that was a little boring, so I started to come up with more creative versions, using colors and patterns that I found interesting, and after a few tries things began to come together. I started experimenting and seeing the possibilities. The creative process just began to take on a life of its own.â€

Out of this unplanned and natural creative process throughout the years emerged not only one of the biggest teachers of our times, but an absolute A-list talent when it comes to uncharted territories in the fashion world. I myself was lucky enough to receive two pairs of these extraordinary jeans and ten minutes can’t go by before people ask specifically about them. Even department stores expressed interest.

As an economist myself I marvel over the abilities of this man. He speaks the language our world is hungry for but hardly has the vocabulary yet to fully understand, which is topped in his case with the fact that he is a gold mine for any investor understanding the importance of fashion and the luxury market. For both high fashion and luxury are the least affected by any economic fluctuation including the unnerving stock exchange.

“Yes, my jeans created quite a lot of interest, just by me walking around in them, and I found that people loved them. They would come up and tell me ‘I really love the tigers in that design’ or ‘I just love the colors in that pattern,’ – so that inspired me, and I began getting more creative, adding a wide variety of colors and images, from birds, dolphins and whales to religious icons like Shiva, Buddha and Lakshmi, and stars, planets and the universe. It all seemed to fit for me, and I tried to use designs and colors that were harmonious and gave off healing energy.â€

What began as a whim quickly turned into an art form, with each pair of jeans becoming a uniquely creative expression of spirit. As he began designing for friends and customers who were now increasingly interested in his art, Aros began his process of what he calls “wearable creativity.†“Each one of these designs is not only artistically unique, but also has a lot of spirituality and higher consciousness woven into them,†he says.

Using the brand name Galactic Orgasm Designs (or G.O.D.), Aros is now creating a line of custom made couture that relies on both artistic creativity and universal or galactic expression. Before he starts on a couture design, Aros personally consults with the client to get a sense of the colors and images that will produce the energies and vibrations suited to the individual.

“These jeans are not just something to wear that look colorful and interesting, they are also a personal expression of your divine spirit and are designed to create harmony and healing vibrations even as you are wearing them. There is no question that what you wear affects how you feel, and there is nothing else like this on the market, nothing that has this effect on people.â€

Aros’ G.O.D. designs have already created such sensation that he’s been recently asked to create his art on a much bigger format by putting it on framed canvas, which then can be widely appreciated in homes, businesses and religious institutions. “I already have a demand for this work to be framed,†Aros says. “This work is painstaking, and takes many hours of hand stitching, but trying to live up to the demand we are now looking at ways to make them available to everyone appreciate them.â€

Looking at G.O.D., it’s obvious that Aros has a lot of time and love invested in them. After the client consultation come the appropriate application of colors, designs and layers of embroidery and hand stitching, all of which comes together in a way that is personally energizing. “I want people to realize that we are all part of a galactic family of souls, a universal consciousness, and this is just another expression that conveys that message.â€

With this I hear him return to the original essence of our conversation. We live in a self-aware Universe and we are all souls through which the Universe is becoming conscious of itself just as we become conscious of ourselves through the Universe. There is not an “in here†and an “out there,†or a time and space separation, but an existence, life, vibrational frequencies, energy and light. All is one and that one is nothing more than energy when we go down to the smallest of the smallest of matter. We arrive to no thing. Nothing. Through our way of thinking we create the universe and the universe respond back to us with the exact measure with which our mind shapes our existence. And, this feedback mechanism is called consciousness, awareness, awakening, or even oneness. This oneness is love.

When I was in love I felt oneness and when that oneness disappeared so did the relationship. Is it not fair then to state that it is all in the energy and the highest vibration of that energy is love, and that in the final count- down love is all there is, and that divine is the only real?

As Aros Crystos continues with his mission here on Earth, the G.O.D. designed jeans are just another way that he can bring his message to an increasingly wider audience. This is a uniquely wearable form of art that complements the body of his galactic work of writing, music, films and teaching. It’s all part of his ongoing commitment to fulfilling his life’s work.

“Everything I do is designed to raise people’s consciousness, to prepare them to join the larger spiritual family of which we are all a part of and which never dies†Aros says. “Sharing that message is what I am here for.â€
