It’s a Santa Monica Playhouse 50th Anniversary Festival of Theatre Special Engagement, crafted and performed by Santa Monica Playhouse Actors’ Repertory Theatre (ART), the company that introduced the works of acclaimed playwright Eugene Ionesco to Los Angeles, and one of the most innovative companies currently producing intimate professional theatre, bringing back to the boards the inventive double-bill with which the theatre opened its doors in 1960.
This “exuberant, illuminating†(Hollywood Reporter) coupling of strange bedfellows features internationally acclaimed ART members Chris DeCarlo, Evelyn Rudie, Serena Dolinsky and Celeste Akiki, with special guest appearances by James Hassett and Cason Murphy.
