A student of Los Romeros – the late Celedonio Romero and his sons Celin and Pepe, often called the “Royal Family of the Guitar†— Maldonado performs Spanish guitar music spanning 100 years, including many difficult styles such as rasqueado. Featuring everything from a string quartet to a full band, the evening encompasses classical, flamenco and modern sounds.
