Democratic Candidates Forum — April 10

The public is invited to a candidate forum sponsored by West LA Democratic Club, Westchester Democratic Club, Culver City Democratic Club and others, featuring Democrats running for statewide offices appearing on the June 8 ballot.

The event will take place on Saturday April 10, at the Culver City Veterans Memorial Auditorium, 4117 Overland Ave., Culver City, beginning at noon.
“This will be the only chance voters in the Westside area will have to see virtually all Democrats running for statewide office gathering at one location to discuss their campaigns,†said Cara Robin, president of West LA Democratic Club and chair of the organizing committee.
Each candidate will be given time to speak and then answer questions submitted by members of the audience.

Democrats running for statewide office who are confirmed to attend include:
-Lt. Governor Janice Hahn -Attorney General T. Lieu, K Harris, , P. Nava, R. Delgadillo, C. Kelly and A. Torrico -Secretary of State Debra Bowen -Controller John Chiang -Insurance Commissioner Hector De La Torre and Dave Jones -Supt Pub Instruct Gloria Romero and Tom Torlakson State Bd Equalizatn Jerome Horton

In addition to the candidates, sponsoring Democratic Clubs will have information tables onsite to encourage voters to get involved and to vote on June 8.
