This year, dining Out for Life will take place on Thursday April 28, 2011. Many charitable restaurants throughout the greater Los Angeles area will donate a minimum of 20% of day’s sales (breakfast, lunch and/or dinner) to Project Angel Food, one of the L.A.’s most beloved nonprofits. Project Angel Food cooks and delivers over 14,000 free nutritious meals every week to men, women and children struggling with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.
Project Angel Food encourages Angelenos to “eat, drink and be angels†on April 28th by dining out at participating restaurants which include: Blvd 16, Il Cielo, Jar, Mr. Chow, Kitchen 24, O! Burger, Prosecco Trattoria, Taste at the Palisades, Taste on Melrose, The Little Door Restaurant, and Little Next Door Brasserie, Upstairs 2 and others. A complete list of participants is available at www.diningoutforlifela.org.
Sponsors for Project Angel Food’s Dining Out for Life include Subaru, OpenTable.com, Cellit, SCVNGR, LA Weekly, RAGE, and Frontiers.
Dining Out for Life is an international fundraising event produced annually in 50 cities throughout North America to raise money for local AIDS service organizations.
