The Eighth Annual Beverly Hills International Music Festival will take place at Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills from Saturday, August 6, 2011 through Monday, August 15, 2011.
The festival will feature daily master classes for young, talented musicians ages 12 and up in addition to nine free, public concerts, presenting a variety of musical styles ranging from the music of Jewish Composers and popular Hollywood tunes to world masterpieces culminating in a joint performance with the Festival Chamber Orchestra.

For the third year, Composer in Residence Sharon Farber will curate the VOICES OF HOLLYWOOD evening, featuring concert music by Film Composers which will include acclaimed composers as Bruce Broughton, Paul Chihara, Andre Previn, Bruce Babcock Gernot Wolfgang and Thomas Perish as well as her own music.
Ms. Farber’s “Nietzsche Trio†, based on the soundtrack she composed for the film “When Nietzsche Wept†will be performed at the opening concert of the festival, August 6th.
All concerts will begin at 8:00pm and each will feature different programs, including a Chamber Music Evening, Music of Jewish Composers, Lyrics Quartet, Voices of Hollywood, and the Music of Austria.
