FREE THEATRE FESTIVAL

A feast of movement, dance, music and performance art to titillate the senses and delight the imagination little by little and bit by bit. “POCO A POCO†is the featured production in the Santa Monica Playhouse 2009 Italian/American Theatre Festival ¬– a world premiere bi-lingual (Italian-English) play created through cross-cultural collaboration between Italy’s renowned Blue in the Face Theater Company and Santa Monica’s internationally renowned Actors’ Repertory Theatre, helmed by Playhouse Co-Artistic Director Chris DeCarlo with Associate Director Serena Dolinsky. FREE admission includes a post-show discussion with the creative team and participation in Ciao Chow Italian food-tasting after the show. Four performances only. Fri & Sat, Sept 25 & 26. 8pm; Sat & Sun, Sept 26 & 27, 3pm. The two-week long Festival will also include a series of dynamic theatre and cultural exchange workshops.
