GIVE YOUR KIDS A ‘WORLD CUP’ OF THEIR OWN!

SoccerKidsUSA (SKUSA) is re-launching it’s year-round, 10 week league for children 6-8 this fall, to take place at Cheviot Hills Park in West Los Angeles. This unique co-ed program has been formatted especially to provide the greatest possible benefit (and convenience) for its participating kids and their families. These hour and a half sessions are all scheduled on the same day, same time, same location every week to keep things simple for parents.

With every lesson, SKUSA’s exceptional staff of experienced coaches will guide the kids in a few key areas: the introduction of various technical and tactical aspects of the sport, plus a competitive match – where the kids get the opportunity to implement what they’ve learned. The idea is to teach the lesson, then challenge the kids to utilize what they’ve learned in the game, all in the same day!

The SKUSA Program Manager oversees the league, and each team is run by a lead Coach, with the possibility of an assistant. Rosters consist of 8 players, where games are played 6 vs. 6 with kid goalkeepers. Every team will have their own team name and distinct uniform. All structured games will be two 25-minute periods, with a 10-minute break. A half hour of practice will come before or after the competitive play, depending on the number of teams. The first 7 weeks of the program are dedicated to inter-league play, or the ‘Season’. The last 3 weeks will be considered Play-Offs leading into a Championship round.

The seasoned SKUSA League coaches are genuinely passionate for the game of soccer and kids. They are fully committed to providing fun classes that are progressive and challenging, encouraging an increased level of play, meanwhile supporting the kids’ development and individual pace.

Founded by Justin and Julie Greenberg, SoccerKidsUSA has had the honor of being a part of children’s lives for close to a decade. “Our Purpose is to educate, learn and support in a positive manner,†says Justin Greenberg. “Encouragement goes a long way, and we take pride in sharing with your children’s challenges and celebrating their success with them. They deserve our attention. Not only because they have an infinite amount of wisdom to offer us and are kind enough to share it; but they have the inherent need to love and be loved. We feel lucky to be able to celebrate the exchange. It’s heartwarming and humbling.â€

SKUSA League is grateful for having been a part of such a fantastic growing experience along with various children of all types, big and small, shy and outgoing, in Los Angeles since 2005. We sincerely hope you and your kids will join in the Fun, Sun, and Soccer!
