Growth Capital Conference, perhaps the earliest user of the “pitch-fest” technique on the Westside, will conduct its quarterly meeting this Thursday, July 27, at the Olympic Collection (at the northwest corner of Olympic and Sawtelle).
Breakfast is served starting at 7 a.m. The first presentation begins at 7:30 a.m. The event concludes around 10 a.m.
Entrepreneurs will present five different deals to a panel of judges. The judges then give feedback.
Each entrepreneur gets 7 minutes to make his or her case.
This is how a pitch-fest works. Successful pitches can result in actual funding.
