The Parents Education League of Los Angeles (PEL) is hosting the city’s first Preschool Fair on Saturday May 21st from 9am-12noon.
More than 50 preschools will be represented at the event that will take place at the Leo Baeck Temple, 1300 N Sepulveda, LA 90077.
“This will be a great opportunity for parents to explore the options available to them in Los Angeles,†says PEL Executive Director and mother of four, Joanna Port. “There are so many things to take into consideration when looking at preschools. These include if your child is potty trained, if they are ready for a full-time or part-time program, and if the school environment is one that will be a fit for your family.â€
In addition to meeting school directors and other representatives, there will be a breakout session where parents can learn more about the guiding principles of the different educational approaches to which the preschools represented subscribe. Learn about the differences between Montessori, Reggio Emilia or the more traditional approachs offered by the various preschools in our environs.
The Parents Education League of Los Angeles is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing LA parents access to the most objective, current and comprehensive information regarding schools and education in Los Angeles.
