Life is Beautiful returns to Downtown Las Vegas Sept. 25-27 with Stevie Wonder, Imagine Dragons & Kendrick Lamar

In less than a month the magical Life is Beautiful Festival returns to Downtown Las Vegas for three extraordinary days of music, food, arts, and learning.

The third edition of the event Sept. 25-27 will include headliners Stevie Wonder, Imagine Dragons, and Kendrick Lamar.

They are among more than 70 established and emerging artists to hit the four outdoor stages throughout the weekend.

In collaboration with Insomniac, Life is Beautiful will host an entire Insomniac curated music area, taking over one of the four stages on the festival grounds.

World leading and fresh faced dance music artists on this year’s lineup include Thievery Corporation, Porter Robinson, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, TCHAMI, Cashmere Cat and many more.

In 2014, more than 90,000 fans came together for Life is Beautiful, which expanded to a three-day festival following its inaugural year success in 2013. The all-ages cultural experience continues to grow with the return of the world’s most influential culinary experts, artists and interactive learning sessions.

This year, the culinary weekend takeover will feature an expanded and intimate grand tasting demonstration that will take place amidst the bustling streets of Downtown Las Vegas, bringing together fans, foodies and chefs throughout the footprint of the festival.

From Friday to Sunday, Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival will feature pop-up culinary demonstrations and villages with notable, Las Vegas chefs known from around the world serving signature cuisines. Additionally, primetime mixologists will keep the cocktails flowing throughout the festival weekend and be serving seasonal favorites to create the ultimate pairings.

“It is very important for us to continue to incorporate the local Las Vegas restaurant scene and food culture into the festival,” says Eve Cohen, Managing Director at Life is Beautiful. “We’re excited to bring the culinary experience closer to the fans this year by providing them with front row access to the pop-up demonstrations.”

Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival attendees will experience the following:

Craft Beer Garden

Curated by Michael Shetler, guests 21 and older will savor a top-notch beer selection at the Craft Beer Garden, situated at the Ambassador Stage. 24 craft beers will be available including Alpine Beer Company, Ballast Point, Bohemia, Green Flash, Gulden Draak, Hofbräu, Left Hand, Original Sin Hard Cider, Oskar Blues, Rogue, Santa Fe, Seattle Cider, Shiner Bock, Stiegl, Tenaya Creek and Trumer Pils. There will also be 15 restaurant booths and four food trucks in the surrounding areas for quick bites to accompany a guests’ cold beer.

Culinary Villages

The popular Culinary Village experience will increase in size and flavors this year, seamlessly fusing with the overall festival landscape, featuring culinary displays installed at three of the festival’s music stages. Guests will enjoy spectacular vantage points while feasting on gourmet food from the best local restaurants that Las Vegas has to offer. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options will also be available throughout the festival.

Cocktail Program

Guests 21 and older will have the opportunity to sample a wide-selection of curated, handcrafted pairings of beer, wine and spirits from some of the world’s most distinguished mixologists, wine makers and brewers courtesy of Wirtz Beverage. Unlike any other music festival, attendees can choose from over 35 specialty cocktails and over 25 craft wine and beer selections. Ketel One Dutch Mule, alongside a selection of frozen cocktails including The Frozen Minty, Milagro Margarita, Yoghurt Stand and The Banana Slip. Sponsors and Partners include Wirtz Beverage Nevada, Dos Equis, Ketel One, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Milagro, Fernet-Branca.

Pop Up Culinary Demonstrations

Daily interactive pop-up culinary demos will be performed in the VIP area of the Downtown Stage with a live stream for festival attendees to experience. There will be three cooking expositions and two mixology segments preformed daily. The chef lineup for this intimate demonstration experience include Kim Canteenwalla, Elizabeth Blau, Duff Goldman, Hubert Keller, Sam Marvin, Rick Moonen, Carla Pellegrino, Steve Samson, Adam Sobel, and John Tesar. The mixology lineup includes Eric Hay, Andrew Pollard, Jaime Salas, Ricky Gomez, and Willy Shine.

Three-Day General Admission (GA) tickets are still available for $255 (plus fees) while three-day VIP tickets are $595 plus taxes/fees.

VIP tickets include access to private viewing areas at the Downtown and Ambassador stages, access to the “VIP Lounge” located adjacent to the Downtown and Ambassador stages, featuring shaded VIP relaxation area with comfortable furniture and lounge chairs, exclusive VIP-only food vendors, art vendors, and art installations.
