Los Angeles Rams safety T.J. McDonald is suspected of DUI after crashing his vehicle into a parked car in Woodland Hills, police said.

McDonald was found at the crash scene in the 22900 block of Gershwin Drive about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, said Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section. He is not suspected of having been under the influence of alcohol, Lopez said.

The 25-year-old McDonald was arrested and booked at the LAPD’s Van Nuys jail, with bail set at $300. He was released about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to sheriff’s online inmate records.

McDonald is scheduled to appear in court in Van Nuys on June 3, according to the sheriff’s department.

The Rams issued a statement on the incident Tuesday.

“We are aware of the incident involving T.J. McDonald this morning. We are gathering information and will have no further comment at this time.”

McDonald was selected by the Rams in the third round of the 2013 draft out of USC. He started 11 of the team’s first 12 games in 2015, when it was based in St. Louis, but missed the final four because of a shoulder injury requiring surgery.

McDonald’s father, Tim McDonald, played safety for the St. Louis/Phoenix Cardinals from 1987-92 and the San Francisco 49ers from 1993-99. He was selected for the Pro Bowl six times. He is now the Buffalo Bills defensive backs coach.
