Multimedia Design Emerges in Los Angeles

Artist: Hiroki Morinoue
Despite the current financial crises some creative professionals have sidestepped local economies to build a new, thriving base for business and art. The latest arrival to this vibrant scene is Hilden Hahn Creatives.

After 15 years on the right coast, this renowned multimedia design team survived the 9-11 attacks and the recession to stake a claim in downtown Los Angeles. The Gallery at Hilden Hahn is home to artists who are also represented at the Library of Congress, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Contemporary Museum in Honolulu and The Parks Foundation.

Gallery founders Mark Hilden and Craig Hahn began their careers in the fashion industry in the mid 1980s while refining skills that would later propel them to the forefront of the contemporary art scene.

The Gallery at Hilden Hahn exhibits world-class art by such notables as Hiroki Morinoue, Setsuko Watanabe, Miho Morinoue, Tim Davis, Timothy P. Ojile and Gabriella Zalapi.

Co-director Craig Hahn said, “With people around the world slowing their pace of consumption, the world of art is reestablishing itself as an essential commodity. Art allows us to appreciate life more fully. It brings us together to engage in conversation and also to reflect on that which enlivens us.”

Los Angeles, Hahn added, “is the perfect city for artists to fully realize their talents for renewal and exploration.”
