Terrorism is not a movement, or a state, or a leader — it is a tactic used by madmen everywhere to terrorize people so that they can be manipulated for a variety of purposes. Terrorism is sadly alive and well — but will we be? Will our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan be in more danger than they were on Saturday? Will this spawn more terrorists or quell the drive to murder innocents more? Oh, yeah, and what about our Frienemy relationship with Pakistan?
