Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Taylor Armstrong inspires Malibu Beach Recovery Center’s “Holiday Help Lineâ€

Inspired by Taylor Armstrong from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,†the “Holiday Help Line” will offer callers guidance about drug and alcohol treatment programs, intervention planning and other resources.

In 2009, Taylor and her husband, Russell Armstrong, learned that a family member had a serious substance abuse problem exacerbated by the holiday season:

“I know first-hand just how difficult the holiday season can be for those struggling with addiction,†remarked Taylor. “Facilitating treatment for our family member has made a world of difference, and we are proud to say that one year later the effects have proven to be lasting and positive. With that in mind, we encouraged the Malibu Beach Recovery Center to open a ‘Holiday Help Line’ and believe that those seeking treatment and intervention options will ultimately find the support and healing they truly require.â€

Added Borsten: “At Taylor’s request and with her keen insights into the world of addiction treatment, we have readied a network of rehabilitation clinics, interventionists, and sober living residences across the country. Our staff is prepared to listen and to be responsive to questions about getting someone into treatment, duration of treatment, and the role of interventionists. Our ultimate goal is to assist callers with finding the best solution for themselves or a family member.”

Families and those in need of treatment may reach the Malibu Beach Recovery Center’s “Holiday Help Line” at 1-800-756-6990. For interview requests or other questions please contact Joan Borsten: Joan[at]MalibuBeachRecovery.com or call 310-456-2026.
